- Folds compactly for storage
- Unfolds for use in seconds
- For loading, it is low, extremely stable and has a shallow seat area without sides to allow easy transfer
- The passenger is held firmly in place by three safety straps
- Six wheels allow the attendant to move the passenger over level surfaces quickly and easily
Stairway descent requires little operator strength – a 90lb attendant can easily evacuate a 200lb passenger
- During Descent, a hydraulic governor limits the speed
- A fail-safe braking system is always engaged and is released by the attendant during descent – this allows the attendant to stop the CD7 on the stairway should the passenger need attending or if an obstruction needs to be cleared from the stairs
